김반장은 아소토 유니온 시절의 소울과 펑크를 지나, 레게와 퍼커션 중심의 리듬을 더 깊이 밀어 넣으며 자신만의 리듬을 확장해온 아티스트다. 이번 무대에서 김반장은 라국산, 씩씩이와 함께 더욱 입체적인 리듬의 장면을 만들어낸다. 라국산의 퍼커션이 질긴 숨을 더하고, 씩씩이가 비트는 소리는 현장의 박동을 더욱 예민하게 벼린다. 그렇게 손으로 두드리고 몸으로 밀어 올린 리듬은 현장의 공기를 바꾸고, 오래된 박동과 동시대의 감각이 한데 겹쳐지며 서드페 한복판에 묵직하고도 진득한 울림을 남긴다. 이들이 함께 만드는 무대는 아마도 몸이 먼저 반응하는, 가장 살아 있는 리듬의 장면에 가까울 것이리라.

Moving beyond the soul and funk of his Asoto Union days, Kim Ban-jang has expanded his rhythmic universe by diving deep into reggae and percussion-driven beats. In this performance, he creates a multi-dimensional rhythmic landscape alongside Ra Guk-san and SsingSsing. Ra Guk-san’s percussion adds a tenacious breath, while SsingSsing’s beats sharpen the pulse of the venue. These hand-tapped and body-driven rhythms transform the atmosphere, leaving a heavy, lingering resonance where ancient heartbeats meet contemporary sensibilities. This stage will be a living scene of rhythm where the body reacts before the mind.
