아티스트 소개23회 한국대중음악상에서 [NAMDO CALLING]으로 후보에 오른 바 있는 까데호는 같은 해 자신들의 정규 앨범 [ENDLESS]를 발매하기도 했다. 이미 자신들만의 즉흥 연주 방식으로 꾸준히 공연을 만들며 활발한 활동으로 팬을 모으고 있는 이들은 작품 활동에도 진심이며 최근에는 오리지널 러브(Original Love) 같은 일본의 전설적인 음악가와도 교류 중이다. 까데호는 일찌감치 멤버 변동이 한 차례 있었다. 처음 결성 당시 드럼을 맡았던 최규철은 10대 때부터 연주자 생활을 시작했으며 2017년 서울드럼페스티벌에도 자신의 이름을 걸고 공연한 바 있다. 그런 최규철을 대체하여 지금의 김다빈이 합류했고, 까데호와 최규철은 따로 또 같이 음악을 한다. 구 멤버와 신 멤버의 조화, 기존 투 드럼과는 다른 독특한 리듬의 향연이 기다린다. -

아티스트 소개2014년 재즈피플 라이징스타에 선정되었을 때부터 김대호는 국내 재즈 신에서 활발하게 활동하고 있는 연주자였다. 이후 김대호는 트럼페터 데이먼 브라운(Damon Brown), 색소포니스트 마틴 야콥센(Martin Jacobsen) 등과 유럽 클럽 투어를 가지기도 했고, 커트 엘링(Kurt Elling)과 같은 세계적인 재즈 음악가는 물론 해금 연주자 윤주희까지 폭넓게 연주 활동을 펼쳤다. 그렇게 15년이라는 시간을 가득 채웠고, 최근 드디어 자신의 첫 앨범 [TOUGH LIFE]를 공개했다. 베이스는 리듬 섹션으로 분류되지만, 동시에 음을 연주하기도 한다. 그런 점에서 특히 재즈에서는 중심을 잡아주는 동시에 드럼과 피아노(혹은 다른 악기) 사이에서 힌트와 영감을 주고 조율의 역할을 하기도 한다. 현재 가장 훌륭한 베이스 연주자인 김대호와 함께 재즈 리듬의 매력을 느껴보자.

아티스트 소개국힙 원탑이라는 다소 밈적인 이 고민은 엉뚱하게도 삼산을 만나 해결될런지도 모르겠다. 국악 작곡을 전공하며 오히려 음악과 더 멀어질 뻔한 이 아티스트에게서 우리는 굳이 설명하지 않아도 고롱고롱한 한국적 사운드, 의성의태어들이 훅으로 작용해 끌어낸 입자감, 굽이굽이 넘어가는 그녀의 목소리가 이룬 합을 느낄 수 있다. 삼산의 음악은 한국적인 것을 표면에 걸어두는 데 그치지 않고, 그 감각을 리듬과 호흡 안으로 깊숙이 밀어 넣는다. 그래서 그의 음악은 ‘국악 기반’이라는 말 하나로는 다 담기지 않는 생동과 동시대성을 획득한다. 이제 서드페에서, 토해내듯 풀어내는 그녀의 리듬에 한껏 엉키고 굽이쳐볼 차례다. -

Cadejo had a line-up change early on; original drummer Gyu-cheol Choe, who started his career in his teens and performed at the 2017 Seoul Drum Festival under his own name, was succeeded by current member Dabin Kim.
